TASMANIAN AQUACULTURE AND FISHERIES INSTITUTE


The School of Zoology is a key component of the Tasmanian Aquaculture and Fisheries Institute. TAFI is a joint venture between the State Government and the University of Tasmania combining the strengths of the University with Tasmanian State Fisheries and Fish Health Laboratories.

TAFI focuses on sustainable development and management of fisheries, aquaculture and the marine environment. It provides training and research opportunities for zoology students at honours and post grad level.
