The Faculty of Science, Engineering & Technology offers a wide range of study opportunities, whether you want to complete a first degree, or pursue postgraduate research.

The twelve Schools within the Faculty offer undergraduate programs in Agricultural Science, Antarctic Science, Architecture & Environmental Design, Biotechnology, Computing and Information Systems, Engineering, Environmental Science, Marine Science, Natural Environment & Wilderness Studies, Psychology, Surveying & Spatial Sciences, and Science.

Within Science, you can major in the following disciplines: Aquaculture, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geography and Environmental Studies, Geology, Mathematics, Microbiology/Immunology, Physics, Plant Science, Psychology, Zoology.

You can either study for a single degree, or undertake a combined program in which you study two degrees concurrently and gain the benefits of substantial savings in time and cost.

Course & Unit Handbook

All first degree programs lead on to Honours degrees, from which you may wish to pursue further research by studying for a Masters degree or a Doctor of Philosophy. Alternatively, if you want to retrain in a new area, our Schools offer many Graduate Diploma courses. Coursework Masters programs are also available in some Schools.
