The following projects are undertaken in the research area of Cognitive Neuropsychology

Risk and protective factors for the development of psychopathology in at-risk adolescents (Doctorate)

Supervisors: Mathew Summers  Members: Elysia Cunningham
This project will examine the predictive risk and protective factors for the development of mental illnesses in adolescents who are at risk of developing such disorders. The study will monitor adolescents from Ashley Youth Detention Centre, on Community Work Orders, under Child Protection Orders, and clients of mental health services in order to develop a screening tool.

Attention deficits as predictors of the development of Alzheimer’s dementia in adults with MCI (Doctorate)

This longitudinal study will examine performances on measures of attention, working memory, memory, and language to enable the identification of predictive risk factors for the development of Alzheimer’s dementia in adults with MCI. Read More....
