Research Interests

The effect of ecological factors such as nutrition, temperature, water deficit, waterlogging and salinity on plant regeneration, growth and survival. Ecological and physiological factors which influence dominance patterns in eucalypt forests. Eco-physiological differences between the eucalypt subgenera Monocalyptus and Symphyomyrtus. The relationships between plant parasites and their respective hosts; water relations, photosynthesis and water use efficiency. The effect of salinity and waterlogging on growth, water relations and ion uptake of salt-tolerant plants.
