Physics is the fundamental science, the foundation upon which engineering and technology are built. This science is concerned with the farthest reaches of space and the tiny world of atoms and molecules. Physics provides a basis for an understanding
of biology, chemistry and geology.
The Ceduna observatory is located 30 km north of Ceduna in South Australia. The observatory has a 30m diameter tertiary focus antenna, which were donated to the University by Telstra in 1995.
