Magnetic data acquisition on Macquarie Island

Lines of magnetic data collected up to November 2004 by the intrepid Bronwyn Kimber and Andy Wakefield on assignment on Macquarie Island. This is part of a research project run by Michael Roach, Garry Davidson (Utas), Jeff Karson (Duke U, USA), and Carol Finn (USGS) to understand the anatomy and hydrothermal patterns in ocean crust.The work is being logistically supported by the Australian Antarctic Division.
