K3B Bachelor of Marine Science

This 3-year (minimum) full-time or part-time course is offered by the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology at Hobart and builds on the University's global reputation of excellence in temperate marine research.

S3G Bachelor of Science

This 3-year (minimum) full-time or part-time course is offered by the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology and is available at Hobart and Launceston (first year and a number of majors). The first year is also offered at the Cradle Coast Campus (limited number of subjects).

S3G Bachelor of Science (Economic Geology) with Honours

This course has a 3-year prerequisite in a special BSc program that provides for students to continue into MSc and PhD courses in the ARC Centre of Excellence in Ore Deposits (CODES).

S4E Bachelor of Science with Honours

This 1-year full-time or 2-year part-time course is offered in both Hobart and Launceston. Candidates will conduct research and write a thesis. It aims to provide advanced training in a major area, an opportunity for training in research, and an in-depth knowledge in a single area of science.

S6X Graduate Diploma of Science with Honours

The Graduate Diploma of Science with Honours allows non-science graduates to obtain the necessary prerequisites for higher degrees in Science. It is a one year minimum course offered by all the Science schools of the Faculty.
