PhD Scholarships
Scholarships may be available for PhD research on projects related to CODES’ core fundamental and applied research programs on the location, formation and discovery of ore deposits.
The scholarships will be awarded for three years duration on the basis of academic merit and include a stipend of AUD$28000 per annum. Applicants with outstanding academic records and/or significant industry experience will be eligible for a top-up (maximum $12000 per annum). Applicants who are successful in gaining an Australian Post-graduate Award for PhD research may also be eligible for a top-up. Highly qualified international applicants may be offered an additional grant to cover International Student fees, currently $18,000 per annum.
All successful applicants with no other support for research costs are eligible to apply for research grants up to AUD$7,000 per annum.
