PhD (General)

I grew up in Launceston, enjoying my school years at Launceston Church Grammar School. I managed to whittle my intellectual pursuits to Maths,Physics, Chemistry and Philosophy in first year Uni. Chemistry quickly become an anticipated event, so I completed all of the available units here at UTas, filling out my timetable with some philosophy subjects.

My interest continued at the end of third year, so I enrolled in the Honours course under the excellent supervision of Dr Michael Gardiner, obtaining a First Class Honours Degree. My interest continues, as does my Honours project, and so I find myself undertaking a PhD in chemistry within the fantastic and supportive School of Chemistry at UTas.
