The Tasmania Scholarships Program gives outstanding students significant financial and academic support to study at the University of Tasmania. Scholarships are offered in a wide range of disciplines and selection is based on academic merit. They are available for students studying for degrees at undergraduate, postgraduate and research levels.
Below are some of the scholarships that you may be eligible to apply for.
This bursary is provided by the Devonport City Council to support a student from the Devonport municipality commencing a degree course at the University.

This scholarship is provided each year by The Examiner newspaper to support a northern Tasmanian student commencing study at the Launceston campus of the University.

This bursary is provided by the Latrobe Council to assist a resident of the municipality to access tertiary study. It is available to a student commencing study in an area relevant to employment in local government, e.g. business, engineering, environmental design, etc.

Hobart City Council supports a number of awards for Hobart residents enrolling at UTAS. It is Available to a resident of the City of Hobart commencing study in one of the following areas: Antarctic science, business/marketing, engineering, environmental design, fine arts, geomatics or tourism.
