73M Bachelor of Agricultural Science

This on-campus, 4-year (minimum) full-time course is available at Hobart. The objectives are to provide:

  • a sound basis in the physical and biological sciences in the first two years of study
  • in the final two years of study, specialisation and advanced study of the major discipline areas of agricultural science
  • scientific knowledge in the principles of agricultural production and sustainable resource management that meet the needs of industry, business and government.

    73N Bachelor of Applied Science (Agriculture)

    This on-campus, 3-year (minimum) full-time course is available at Hobart. The course gives students an opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills suited to the needs of a professional agriculturalist or horticulturalist. Emphasis is given to scientific technology, its application and the management of agricultural and horticultural enterprises.

    73O Bachelor of Science

    This 3-year (minimum) full-time or part-time course is offered by the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology and is available at Hobart and Launceston. The main intake to the Bachelor of Science is February, however a mid-year intake in July is also available.
