This is a five-year full-time degree course. The first year is studied in the Bachelor of Arts degree, taking the subject LAW101 Introduction to Law (25%), plus three further subjects from the BA schedule (75%).
At the end of the first year, students apply for entry into the combinded degree.

This on-campus course at Hobart is offered by the Faculties of Commerce and Law. Available full time (a minimum of 5 years) or part time (a maximum of 10 years.

This on-campus 5-year full-time course is offered by the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technologyand the Faculty of Law and is available at Hobart. The first year only is also offered at the Launceston and Cradle Coast campus. This course may be studied part-time.

The Bachelor of Laws course is the basic academic preparation for persons who wish to enter the legal profession and other careers involving legal work. The course also has wider applicability in developing the attributes and skills inherent in a general university education.
