Research Interests

My major research focus has been on all aspects of succession law, including the law relating to wills, family provision, intestacy and administration of estates. Particular interest has been on the interaction between succession law and other law areas such as contract and criminal law. I am currently a consultant to the Law Reform Institute of Tasmania on succession law matters and a member of the National Uniform Succession Law Committee.
Research has also focused on aspects of property law, with concentration on particular aspects of real property, such as the law relating to leases.
