Lisa provides leadership in the development of the community and rural program by promoting and driving dynamic, innovative and flexible approaches to teaching & learning and research in this area, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She is currently engaging in research and education across: undergraduate rural health education and inter-professional education. Responsibilities include providing leadership for educational development, contributing to nursing research, supervision of research and higher degrees students and Chair of the SNM Research & Higher Degree committee and coordination of the SNM Graduate Research program.
Career Summary
As a Registered Nurse, Lisa's past academic experience includes coordinating the Teaching and Learning and Continuing Professional Development programs at the University Department of Rural Health. These dual roles allowed her to engage in research and education activities concerning undergraduate rural health education, inter-professional education, and support for rural health preceptors.
