Project Commencement:

May 2006

Project Completion:

May 2008

Funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing, through its Rural Health Support, Education & Training Program, this project aims to contribute to the recruitment and retention of rural health workers by the development of a national, on-line inter-professional education strategy for rural and remote clinical educators. It aims to extend and reshape the existing online Australian Pharmacy Preceptor Education (APPE) Program, and build on the existing pharmacy focused program to provide information and education for preceptors and clinical educations across the broader rural and remote allied health profession. The program is aimed at building capacity in rural and remote allied health professionals.
