Funded by the Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation (RIRDC) the objective of this project was to produce an options paper that explores better ways of aligning extension (industry training) with the VET (Vocational Education and Training) sector.
Options and recommendations identified were used to assist Cooperative Venture in Human Capacity Building stakeholders in designing policies and programs that made efficient use of industry resources and provided practical, quality training for primary producers. It also provided information that assisted providers of extension (industry training) and VET to make informed decisions about whether and when to align extension and VET.
