Dr. Quynh Le is Lecturer in Rural Health and Graduate Research Coordinator at the UDRH, Tasmania.

She is teaching, supervising and conducting research in health informatics, cultural and diversity health, research methodology and health workforce issues in rural areas. She has participated in a number of UDRH research projects and workshops. She is coordinating the Rural Health Graduate Research program in 2007 and responsible for developing and managing a support program for graduate research students and superviors.


Career Summary

Dr Quynh Le gained her academic qualifications in inter-disciplinary fields including engineering, education, computing and health sciences. She has worked as lecturer, interpreter, research conference convenor in a number of organisations. She was the ICT coordinator and deputy academic coordinator in the UDRH and currently is rural health graduate research coordinator.


She has a wide range of publications in rural health, intercultural health, health workforce issues, social epidemiology and the application of IT in education and health.


Research Interests

Her current teaching and research interests include social determinants of health through multilevel analysis and spatial analysis, cultural and diversity health, population health, and application of information technology (IT) in health and education.
