John’s medical background is as a specialist in anaesthesia and pain medicine. His anaesthesia training was in Ireland and pain medicine training was in Sydney. He is currently working as a VMO in pain medicine at the North West Regional Hospital. John has worked overseas in the Seychelles, the Federated States of Micronesia, and the Marshall Islands.
Research Interests
PhD candidate with UTAS studying the effects of differing opioid medicines on health care use by a persistent pain population.
