Visiting expert in emergency care at RCS
Prof Malcolm Woollard
Prof Woollard will conduct a series of presentations and workshops with local paramedics, emergency clinicians, health professionals and RCS medical students.
He will also go “on the road” with North West Tasmanian Ambulance Service personnel to experience local services first-hand.
Prof Woollard holds distinguished clinical and research positions with Coventry University, is Chair of the College of Paramedics (British Paramedic Association, and has existing Australian connections as Professor in Pre- -hospital Care at Charles Sturt University and Honorary Senior Research Fellow with Monash University.
Prof Woollard’s presentation to paramedics on Wednesday 30 September will be video-linked to audiences at Devonport, Launceston, Hobart, Sheffield and Zeehan.
