Master of Pharmaceutical Science

I am from Mumbai (previously Bombay). It is the financial capital of India. It is a much bigger place than Hobart!

I completed my Bachelor of Pharmacy fom SVB College of Pharmacy, Mumbai University. I was interested in the MPharmSc course because it offers many opportunies to grow. with emphasis more on practical knowledge and as I intend to do a research higher degree - either a Master of Pharmacy or PhD degree - in future this course is the perfect stepping stone.

I did my research and found that UTas was one of the best place to study in Australia and the School of Pharmacy had good reputation. I didn't know much about Tasmania, but being an avid cricket fan, I had heard a bit about Hobart!

Before arriving in Hobart I was told that it is a regional place amongst other things - but from the day I landed in Hobart I have loved this place. It is a beautiful place with a nice climate. I have found it also a good place to study, it is quiet, the university and the people at the university are very nice as well - as are the people in general in Hobart - very nice and helpful!

The University of Tasmania staff have been very helpful and this has helped me settle in well in Hobart. They are always there to help you if you need anything.

I am enjoying my degree, and after starting this degree i have made up my mind to study more here, as I like this university and Hobart.

It is very rare that I get spare time but I love playing cricket or just walking in Hobart - and there are many nice places to see throughout Tasmania.
