General Responsibilities
Supervise and assist MPharmSc students with practical project work.
Research Assistant to undertake work in tissue and plasma sample preparation.
Research Assistant: to undertake Risk Assessment of undergraduate dispensing laboratory program.
Research Assistant: Proteomic laboratory analysis.

Dr Narkowicz completed his PhD in 2003 in the School of Chemistry, University of Tasmania (Dr Adrian Blackman), in the area of marine natural products with antiparasitic activity. A postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Canterbury (Profs Murray Munro and John Blunt) involved investigations of NZ and Antarctic marine organisms.
Career Summary
After a period of casual appointment, Dr Narkowicz was appointed to an academic position in the School of Pharmacy (Research Supervisor) in 2007. At the School of Pharmacy, Dr Narkowicz has been invovled in the supervision of numerous MPharmSc and research higher degree candidates.
Research Interests
Areas of interest include Tasmanian (and Australian) plants and marine organisms with pharmaceutical potential, novel natural product isolation and chemical elucidation, biological activity screening and biologically active polysaccharides.
