General Responsibilities

Rose graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2001, before undertaking her traineeship at Royal Melbourne Hospital. She then spent 12 months working in the sterile and oncology suite at Cabrini Hospital before returning to Tasmania to work at the Royal Hobart Hospital. This was followed by her first stint working at UMORE, where she undertook a large role in the MedeSupport project and completed her honours thesis on the economic impact of this project. Rose then spent 9 months in the UK working at St. George’s Hospital, Tooting as the Cardiothoracic Surgery Senior Pharmacist. Rose recommenced work at UMORE in mid-2007, whilst still remaining very active as a locum pharmacist around Hobart.

Research Interests

Honours thesis title: Evaluation of improving medication management through better communication and continuum of care at the hosptial and community interface. Supervisor: Professor Greg Peterson

Teaching

Supervise, demonstrate and counsel undergraduate laboratory classes.
