General Responsibilities
Mackenzie graduated from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Tasmania in 2005. She completed her pre-registration year at the Launceston General Hospital gaining experience in all facets of hospital pharmacy, then moved back to Hobart to work full-time in community pharmacy. Mackenzie completed her AACP accreditation in 2008 in order to provide RMMRs for the six nursing homes her community pharmacy catered for. She started at the School, in UMORE, in November 2008 to work on the PROMISe project and is still involved in providing HMRs for the community.

Research Interests
Honours thesis title: Ethnic differences in metabolism of isoniazid.
Supervisor: Assoc Prof Stuart McLean
Proposed PhD thesis title: The barriers and facilitators encountered by community pharmacists during the documentation of clinical interventions. Supervisor: Professor Greg Peterson, Dr Peter Tenni.
