Kimbra graduated from the Tasmanian School of Pharmacy in 1996. She then worked full time in community pharmacy for four years before a short stint as a Medical Representative for a pharmaceutical company. Since then, she has worked for the Tasmanian School of Pharmacy with a limited role in supervising undergraduate students, and for UMORE as a research assistant. She has most recently taken on the role of Research Manager for UMORE. Kimbra also continues to work as a locum in the community pharmacy setting.
