Marianne holds a BAppSc with Hons in Medical Laboratory Sciences from the University of Tasmania, a PhD from the University of Tasmania, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of London.


Research Interests

Marianne’s research interests lie within the field of comparative biology with particular interest in determination of the variation of selected serum proteins, hormones and cellular receptors due to environmental impact of rising ambient temperature.


Current projects include investigation of the progression of arterial catheter colonization, a PhD research investigation funded by the Clifford Craig Medical Research Trust.

Teaching

Marianne teaches Immunology, Microbiology and Introductory Clinical Chemistry to undergraduate health science, exercise science and medical laboratory science students.
