M3G Bachelor of Biomedical Science

The course is designed to give students a solid grounding in Science subjects followed by specialised units which provide the knowledge and skills suitable to the needs of the modern pathology laboratory. Students will be proficient in all major disciplines such as Clinical Chemistry, Haematology, Blood Transfusion, Medical Microbiology and Histopathology. There are various career options open to medical scientists, especially in hospital clinical and pathology laboratories, private pathology services, blood transfusion services and public health laboratories. Other areas of employment are found in universities, veterinary laboratories and diagnostic companies.
