The Faculty of Science, Engineering & Technology and the Faculty of Education offer this four year full-time (or part-time equivalent) course in Hobart, with the first year is available in Launceston. The program aims to qualify students as secondary teachers in the information technology area, with a second specialisation in either mathematics or science.

The Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) provides existing and potential early childhood providers with higher levels of knowledge and skills to facilitate the provision of educationally sound programs for children from birth to eight years of age. In addition, the course will provide leaders in early childhood with competencies in teaching, leadership, management and administration.
