This facility is equipped with an ion trap GC/MS:
a Varian Star 3400 CX gas chromatograph coupled with a Varian Saturn 4D mass spectrometer
a Varian 8200 CX Autosampler
Application:
The Saturn GC/MS Ion Trap is ideally suited for the detection and quantification of a range of organic compounds, and is especially suited to the monitoring of low level pesticide and herbicide residues. The MS/MS capability further enhances the isolation and specificity for single target compounds in complex matrices.
