33F Bachelor of Tourism
Tourism is one of the world’s most
important industries for the 21st
Century, and it is an industry with long
term growth prospects worldwide.
This specialist Tourism degree will
provide you with the essential
knowledge and expertise required to
succeed in the industry, and is suited
to students who are interested in the
challenges of a global and dynamic
industry.
A core curriculum of fundamental
tourism units is combined with the
study of specialist areas such as
History and Heritage, Sustainable
Tourism, Interpretation for Tourism and
Destination Management to provide
students with a broad and applicable
set of skills for a variety of exciting
roles in tourism. Students also have
the opportunity to study specific
topics such as the environmental,
economic and cultural benefits of
tourism, and its development for
all stakeholders.

Many areas for careers in tourism are
well established including those in
niche areas as well as those in global

not limited to: ecotourism, sport and
adventure, events and festivals,
