Paul Blacklow has taught at the University of Tasmania since 1995, lecturing since 1999. In 2002 he was appointed as Lecturer after submitting his PhD. He is currently the President of the Tasmanian Branch of The Economic Society of Australia.
Research Interests
Household Behaviour, Taxation and Welfare Reform, Equivalence Scales, Price and True Cost of Living Indexes, Lifetime Cost of Children, Welfare Effects of Price Movements, Inequality and Welfare. Currently working on an intertemporal model of household behaviour with expectations about family size, prices and death, under uncertainty, in order to examine taxation of households.
