Research Interests

My research interests and activities cover a range of areas, united by my background in psychology and my fascination with examining the motivations and underlying meanings of human behaviour. In this regard, my research covers both the HR and marketing fields. I am researching into aspects of the employment relationship for professional/managerial employees as embodied in the notion of the "psychological contract". I have also conducted research into employment selection, specifically the use of biographical data as a predictor of job turnover. I have maintained an interest in research methodolgies, and am currently engaged in a project examining trends in the use of qualitative methods.
