Ms Patricia O’Keefe has been awarded the Patron’s Prize for the Best Student Paper at the 20th Australasian Tax Teachers’ Conference hosted by the School of Accounting and Corporate Governance in Hobart during January 2008.

The School of Accounting and Corporate Governance launched a discussion group in April 2008. The Accounting Cell meets regularly, off-campus, in Hobart and Launceston. April 7th Hobart – Discussion topic “Corporate Governance … Who Needs It?”

Dr Gail Ridley has secured a second National Security grant. The project is entitled Critical Infrastructure Resilience: An ICT Governance Approach. The grant is for $76,264 and the project will be employing a research assistant, Ms Wilumpa (Tai) Jarern-iamsakul until the end of September 2008. Read More....
