A Biography of Woretemoeteyenner (1797 approx - 1847)

This project is developing a biography of Woretmoeteyenner, a Tasmanian Aboriginal woman of the Trawlwoolway people from North East Tasmania and a matriarch of many of today’s Tasmanian Aboriginal people.

The project is funded by a grant from the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies.
