Career Summary
Anthea is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology and Social Work and an Honorary Associate in the School of Human Life Sciences. She is also the Research Co-ordinator at the Dementia Research Centre at the Launceston General Hospital. In 2005, she was awarded a Churchill Fellowship to explore community-based programs for people with dementia in the USA and Canada. Anthea has 25 years of experience as a social worker and researcher in both South Australia and Tasmania, mainly in the health and ageing sectors.
