Emily’s research is driven by an interest in the way young people use storytelling as a tool for identity construction. Her thesis analyses young rural Tasmanians narratives of sexual risk taking and was conferred by the University in 2008.
During 2009 Emily is coordinating HGA101 Sociology A in both internal and distance mode, and two Masters in Ageing and Social Planning units: HGA527/627 Special Topic in Ageing (Gender and Sexuality) and HGA528/628 Healthy Communities.
