Research Interests
Bruce Tranter's research interests include Australian identity, environmental social movements and leaders, political attitudes and behaviour and housing.
An experienced survey researcher and data analyst who also employs qualitative methods, he publishes in national and international social and political science journals.
Current projects include survey based research on environmental activism in Australia and colonial and postcolonial influences on Australian identities, including into public perceptions of Australia’s (anti)hero Ned Kelly.
