Research Interests

I am a qualitative researcher, working within an interpretive frame to discover how people make sense of the challenges they face in their day-to-day lives. In particular, I study how people experience housing, families, and financial risk.

My current work centres on an AHURI-funded project investigating the links between young people in state care and homelessness. I am also writing on issues surrounding child support and parenting apart and young people's financial strategies.
