Research Interests
Dr Jackson's main areas of research centre around the different rates of population ageing unfolding across Australia's states, territories and local government areas, their different drivers and implications. This focus draws together many aspects of political, economic, social, cultural, and community change. It especially emphasises the role of population change in influencing policy, and policy influencing population change.
