Teaching

1999, Vice-Chancellor’s Teaching Excellence Award, University of Tasmania, based on overall contribution to development of Aboriginal Studies. Developed two new units, one on Indigenous Tourism, the other on Indigenous Political Identities, both with an international focus. Designed an honours program in Aboriginal Studies and developed an honours unit on Australian Aboriginal Histories.
