My project titled Partnership or Perish? examines the complexity of the collaborative processes in various sectors, with an emphasis on the arts. The significance of this research for the arts sector will result in the creation of a collaborative model which can be utilised to provide a guide for such people wishing to undertake such a process.

What is the relationship between scale and memory?
I intend to develop a body of artwork that probes this relationship by displaying a video-based installation in a gallery environment. This presentation shall construct a memory palace derived from instructions located in mnemonic texts, namely, Ad herrenium.

Edna Broad - From Marketplace to Superstore (Doctorate)

My PhD study examines the superstore phenomenon in our environment and the proliferation of these stores everywhere. My research is directed locally to a recently redeveloped city block with a superstore - Cornwall Square, Launceston.

This research project focuses primarily on the nature and
purpose of hand tools in the context of utilitarian function and as objects fetishized by cultures throughout the history of humankind. As the research has evolved the idea of result within the environment as a consequence of the artifact, indeed the physical residue of the making process has become the focus of my sculptural work.
