Flora Fenton Tasmania University Scholarship

Mrs Flora Fenton is a lifetime resident of Tasmania’s North West Coast and a member of a family which pioneered farming in the region. She established this scholarship to assist deserving students from the Circular Head area who have to move to Hobart or Launceston to undertake study in any course at the University of Tasmania.

Premier of Tasmania University Bursaries

The Government of Tasmania will provide three annual bursaries in partnership with the University to students living in regional areas of the State's south-east and north-east. These will be called the Premier of Tasmania University Bursaries. They are for study in any area of the University.

TSO Scholarships in Orchestral Studies

The Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra is one of Australia's major professional orchestras. It supports the advanced education of talented musicians through its scholarship program. As a result of a partnership between the TSO and the UTAS Conservatorium of Music, up to five successful applicants will enter the Graduate Diploma of Music Studies majoring in Orchestral Studies (applicants for other postgraduate courses or honours may also be eligible to apply.
