A 200 seat recital hall with a range of professional quality grand pianos, recording facilities and excellent acoustics.
A twenty workstation computer lab based around Apple EMacs all equipped with DVD/CD burners, data projector for teachers computer, sound system and CAPS printer, all networked to the internet. Software includes MS Office, Auralia, Finale, Digital Performer, ProTools and QuizMaster.
This small room has the facility to record concerts via direct burn to CD from a live performance using 2 HHB Burnit digital CD recorders. For more sophisticated recording projects the room uses a 16 track Yamaha digital desk which is routed to the CD burners.
Each PhD Student has 24 hour access to a personlised research space.
Each Honours student is allocated a study space complete with computer and printer access, desk, filing cabinet and locker space as well as internet access and telephone service.
