FOA Prelude Program

The Prelude program is an initiative of the University of Tasmania's Conservatorium of Music. In co-operation with participating schools the Prelude program aims to identify exceptional Tasmanian music students in their final years of high school and provide an extension program allowing them to participate in some classes at the Conservatorium of Music concurrently with study for the TCE certificate.

FOB Overture program

The Overture program is an initiative of the University of Tasmania's Conservatorium of Music. In this program gifted students enrolled in colleges or high schools from outside of Hobart can take advantage of advanced placement opportunities at the Conservatorium of Music through distance education.

F3K Bachelor of Music

This on-campus 3-year (minimum) full-time course is offered by the Faculty of Arts through the Conservatorium of Music at Hobart. The course is a professional training degree that enables you to gain the many skills necessary for success in the music profession.

F3M Bachelor of Music Studies

The Bachelor of Music Studies provides a quality tertiary qualification at the undergraduate level. The educational objectives of this degree is to allow for a general appreciation of music to expand over three years to a deeper level of knowledge, understanding and skill, in both the applied and academic subjects that makes up the discipline of music, such as is required for a Bachelor degree.

F2Q Associate Degree in Music Studies

The Associate Degree in Music Studies degree is for students who are interested in gaining a wide understanding of music and developing knowledge, skills and techniques appropriate to employment in music related industries or other activities related to music or involving broad knowledge of music.
