Advocate Scholarship

The Advocate newspaper, based in Burnie, offers a $3000 scholarship to undergraduate students, from the north-west of Tasmania, entering their third year of the major in Journalism, Media and Communications.

2008 Scholarships (Honours and Postgraduate Coursework)

There are three new scholarship/internship opportunities for honours or postgraduate coursework students in Journalism, Media and Communications. Two are in the area of Environmental Communications and one is an internship opportunity with UniTas. The scholarships are open to students either entering postgraduate coursework or honours study in 2008 or already enrolled in postgraduate coursework study.

Annual postgraduate scholarships

Students undertaking postgraduate study by research or coursework at the University of Tasmania are eligible for a range of scholarships.
