Digital Archiving of Public Records

A study of the generation, classification and archiving of public records in the Information Age. Specific aspects such as the digital records in the fields of cultural heritage, academic publishing (the ejournal and the paperless thesis) and gleaning software are examined. Such issues as instability, incompatibility, intellectual property and unwanted exposure are considered. Some six refereed papers and one book chapter have been published with two in progress. Dr Bostock will be Guest Editor for a Special Edition of the ejournal Webology.
