R5B Graduate Certificate in Government

The course will cover two broad areas, namely, government and public administration, and policy development and implementation. This course addresses key principles underpinning government within a Westminster parliamentary system. It aims to provide a background to, and understanding of the theory and practice of public administration and management.

R5L Graduate Certificate in Police Studies

Designed as a professional development tool for serving police officers, those whose careers are related to policing, and those interested in policing issues in contemporary society. Offered on a full fee-paying basis at the Hobart campus. It is normally a one semester full-time or up to 2 years (or 2 semesters) part-time program. Students may enrol for semester 1 or semester 2 entry.

Designed as a professional development tool for those involved, or interested, in public policy. Offered on a full fee-paying basis at the Hobart campus. R5Q Graduate Certificate in International Politics

Designed for those involved or interested in international affairs. Offered on a full fee-paying basis at the Hobart campus. It is normally a 1 semester full-time or up to 2 years part-time program. Students may enrol for semester 1 or semester 2 entry.

R5R Graduate Certificate in Public Administration (International)

Designed for students in Australia and overseas who require advanced skills in Public Administration in an international context and knowledge of contemporary developments in OECD countries and the international political system. Offered on a full fee-paying basis at the Hobart campus. It is normally a one semester full-time or up to 2 years (or 2 semesters) part-time program. Students may enrol for semester 1 or semester 2 entry.
