Bachelor of Arts with Honours (European Languages)
Luke Blanton graduated with a BA First Class Hons in German in 2004. A keen student of German, Luke won the coveted University of Tasmania Travel scholarship and spent some time studying German at the Goethe Institute in Munich in 2002. In 2003 he was awarded the Energy Bonus Prize for best performance in 3rd year German. Luke researched the works of the German writer Wolfgang Borchert and wrote a thesis entitled "Unser Manifest ist die Liebe": Wolfgang Borchert's Prescription for German Society in the Wake of the Second World War. Luke is currently enrolled in the Faculty of Education to gain a teaching degree.
