I've been associated with SALS since enrolling in second year Japanese in my first year of University. Through my studies with SALS I have had numerous and varied opportunities to share my ever growing knowledge of Japan and Japanese culture with the wider community including 12 months exchange at Kinjo Gakuin University in Nagoya Japan where I was able to complete my under graduate studies in 2004. Other experiences include working with the university international centre as a tour guide for Japanese exchange groups, teaching how to draw manga and anime classes at the State Library of Tasmania and playing "dress ups" as an exmple of a cosplay for Dr Barbara Hartley's cosplay lecture in HMA.
In the past eight years that I have spent with the school I have found the staff to be friendly and supportive, always willing to do the utmost for their students.
