The studio is on the top floor of the building with views across the Hobart Docklands to the bridge and the Derwent River. It comprises a large flexible First Year space with ample wall space, tables and easels. There are discreet studio spaces for Second, Third and Honours students, also supplied with easels and work tables. There are storage racks for paintings and all students are allocated lockers and plan drawers. The open-plan of the studio encourages exchange between students working at the various levels.
