Photography Studio

The large open plan of the Photography Studio includes a teaching/critique area, a film processing area, drying and mounting facilities for prints and
films, large work tables, and individual student work spaces, with an
auxiliary controlled lighting studio. Undergraduate students are catered
for by 4 group black and white darkrooms with a capacity of about 20
enlarger spaces, and a 76 cm colour print processor serviced by 6
individual colour darkrooms. Postgraduate students have 24 hour access to
the facility and a dedicated colour/black and white darkroom. Enlarging
facilities cover film formats up to 13 x 18cm, and equipment available on
loan to more advanced students includes lights, tripods, and small, medium,
and large format cameras.
